To Apply for UW Funding

The Eligibility period for Agencies applying for United Way of Henderson County funding for the 2016/17 year is now closed.

United Way of Henderson County (UWHC) is currently accepting applications for funding for the 2016-17 fiscal year from eligible agencies. This competitive grant process is focused on achieving UWHC’s long-term goals in the areas of Education, Income, and Health. Programs providing Crisis and Basic Needs services will also be considered for funding.

These goals address the issues of Kindergarten Readiness; School Success; Financial Stability; Affordable Housing; Reducing Obesity; and Healthy Youth Behaviors.

All prospective applicants must meet Eligibility Requirements in order to apply for funding. Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) or public, tax-exempt health and human service organization with at least a two-year history of providing health and human service programs to the residents of Henderson County and have program results that clearly align with UWHC goals in the areas of Education, Income Health, or Crisis Services/Basic Needs.
